Why the countryside asks for extra care

In a city, a stranger at your door goes unnoticed. In a village of a few thousand people, it does not. Neighbours notice cars, people talk at the bakery, and the local football club or carnival society can feel like an extended family. For women and couples in rural Brabant, that can make the idea of booking a male escort feel almost impossible. Yet the wish for attention, intimacy or a little adventure is just as real in a farmhouse in the Peel as in an apartment in Eindhoven.

• The Loonse en Drunense Duinen: a remarkable inland sand-drift area between Tilburg and ’s-Hertogenbosch.
• The Biesbosch: one of the largest freshwater tidal areas in Europe, a maze of creeks and willow forests near Drimmelen and Werkendam.
• The Brabantse Wal: a wooded ridge near Bergen op Zoom with views over Zeeland.
• The Maasland: the river landscape north of Oss, with dykes, meadows and small villages.

Each of these is beautiful for a walk, and each offers more privacy than a city park. They are also nowhere near a supermarket where you might meet your neighbour.

Ways to keep a countryside date private

• Meet a little away from home. A walk in a nature area one or two villages away lets us get acquainted without anyone recognising either of us.
• Mind the car. If a strange car outside your house would draw attention, tell me where to park. A side street or a public car park a short walk away works well.
• Choose the timing. A weekday afternoon is often quieter than a Saturday evening, when neighbours are home.
• Rent a cottage or room elsewhere. Brabant has many holiday cottages and small hotels in the countryside. A night away can feel like a holiday. You book it yourself; I do not work with partner accommodations.
• Agree a cover story. If you live with others or have curious neighbours, we can agree a simple, neutral explanation together.

A typical countryside date

Many rural dates follow a similar pattern. We meet at a car park at the edge of a forest or heath, go for a walk and talk. That first half hour in the open air takes away a lot of nerves; walking side by side is easier than sitting face to face. Then we go to the place you have chosen: your home, a cottage or a hotel room. The rest of the date follows the wishes and limits you shared beforehand.

For a date like this, two hours or an evening works better than one hour, because the walk takes some of the time.

Prices

There are no travel costs anywhere in Brabant, even in the most remote corner of the Kempen or the Peel. Outside the province, travel costs apply only to Zeeland, Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. You pay at the start of the date, in cash or with a Tikkie, and there is no deposit, except a small one for long trips. Accommodation is not included; usually you book it. Cancelling is free until six hours before. There is no refund after a date.

Couples in rural Brabant

Couples in villages often have the most to lose if word gets out, and they are understandably careful. A cottage or hotel away from home is usually the easiest solution. I always want to talk to both partners beforehand. Couples pay the same rate as single clients.

Safety

Discretion should never come at the expense of safety. I am regularly STI-tested, I always use protection, and I only meet people aged 21 and over. If you meet me for a walk first, choose a place with some other walkers around if that makes you feel more comfortable. It is also fine to tell a friend where you are.

For many women in rural Brabant, the most comfortable option is a night away. Book a holiday cottage or a small countryside hotel in a part of the province where nobody knows you, and I join you there. We can have dinner, take an evening walk, spend the night together and have breakfast in the morning. A night costs €600, all-in; the accommodation is booked and paid separately by you. It feels like a short holiday, and it removes the worry about neighbours entirely.

When you live on a farm or in a small hamlet

Some clients live in places where every visitor is visible from far away. In that case, meeting elsewhere is almost always the best solution. If you do want to meet at home, we plan carefully: a time when nobody else is around, a place to leave the car out of sight and a simple reason for my visit if anyone asks. Meeting in nature: a few etiquette points

If we meet for a walk first, choose a well-known car park or entrance so we can find each other easily. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Keep the walk relaxed and natural; we are just two people out for a stroll. Anything intimate waits until we are somewhere private. That keeps things discreet for both of us and respects other walkers.

Above all, a countryside date should feel calm. If any part of the plan makes you uneasy, tell me and we change it. There is always another route, another car park, another day. Your peace of mind matters more to me than any particular arrangement, and I would rather adapt a plan three times than have you worry once.
